I have nine bookcases in my house: five large ones and four smaller ones with one or two shelves. Each of them are full. This one is in my study and it contains nothing but books of poetry. I read at least one poem from them every day, often in place of the blood pressure medicine my doctor insists on prescribing for me. I wonder why doctors never consider the wisdom of prescribing poems.
